Our Business:

Oil Finance is an indigenous oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company was incorporated as Oil Finance on 3rd April
2006. The Company officially commenced operations on 1st January 2007 with the acquisition of an Oil Prospecting Licence OPL 216 located in Southern Sudan.

After the exploration of oil in Lake Albert in Uganda we moved our headcounters from Juba in southern Sudan to Kampala in Uganda. Our company name was changed to
Oil Finance on 2nd February 2007. Under the statutory instrument-Decree No.31 of same year we were established to manage 15% of all government interests in the Ugandan Oil industry and 7% government interests in the Sudanese Oil industry.

The Oil Finance has distinguished itself in the Oil and Gas industry from its inception.  We have an enviable track record of having drilled 4 wells. We are cherry pickers who apply all of the latest 2-D and 3D seismic technology to minimize the inherent risks associated with the drilling and exploration business.

Together with international investors our target is to become the central and east African leader in crude oil production. Oil Finance also owns and operates an extensive network of refining and distribution facilities, and is responsible for the gas processing and transportation installations that fuel Uganda's and Southern Sudan's industrial sector.
